  • Provides parents, family members and other caring adult community members the skills that instill lifelong learning in all children. Capital Campaigns

The Foundation occasionally may consider support for capital campaigns that show community-wide interest and impact. Ideally, capital campaign requests should fall within the Foundation’s local areas of interest. (Refer to our Strategic Plan for local areas of interest.)

Two-Phase Submission Process

In lieu of sending a letter of intent or full proposal to the Foundation, we ask that interested organizations respond to a few questions on an online ‘Intent to submit form’. Your responses will provide basic information to help the Foundation consider your project. Capital campaign Intent to Submit Forms are reviewed twice a year, in March and September. After such review, you will be notified whether the board of directors requests that you submit a full application for consideration. If you have any questions, please contact the Foundation’s program officer, Lyn Knox, at 816-531-0077.

Click here to be directed to the ‘Intent to submit form' to provide basic information regarding your organization and capital campaign request. >>
